Heatlock legacy

Engineering Since 1977

For nearly five decades, we’ve focused on one thing: making hot runner systems work better in real production.

Where It All Began

Heatlock began in Sweden with Nils Helldin, an engineer who believed performance comes from solving problems at their source—not adding complexity.

Early designs set a new standard for reliability because they were built around how moulds actually run, not how they look on paper.

Engineering That Delivers

That mindset still defines us. From ceramic insulation to modular system architecture, every development has been driven by practical gains—more stable processing, lower energy use, longer tool life.

Not features for the sake of features, but improvements that show up on the shop floor.

Global by Design

As our customers expanded globally, we followed—not just with sales offices, but with engineering and support close to where moulds are built and run. This allows us to combine consistent design standards with fast, local response.

When issues arise, they’re solved by people who understand both the system and the application.

One Company. Three Technologies.

What sets Heatlock apart today is not a single product line, but how everything fits together. We’ve built a unified platform that covers the full range of applications without forcing customers into one solution.

High-performance systems like STRAIGHT, robust industrial solutions like CORE, and cost-efficient options through HeTeLoK all share the same engineering foundation. That means consistent performance, easier integration, and fewer compromises when scaling across projects.

Engineering Before Products

Most suppliers push a product. We start with the application. Resin behaviour, cycle time targets, part geometry and production volume determine the right solution. Sometimes that means high-end performance.

Sometimes it means a simpler, more cost-effective setup. The goal is always the same: deliver the best outcome for the mould, not the highest-priced system.

Designed for the Future

This platform approach also gives customers flexibility over time. As requirements change, systems can be adapted without starting from scratch. That reduces risk, shortens development cycles and protects long-term investment.

Measured by Customer Success

We don’t measure success by units sold. We measure it by how reliably our systems run, how efficiently our customers produce, and how often they come back with the next project. Heatlock is built on engineering that works—and a platform designed to keep working as your needs evolve.
